We are recruiting for the following position:
Senior Assistant Manager (with responsibility for Training)
Role Description
This is a full-time position based on-site in The Park Hotel, Dungarvan. As the Assistant Manager with responsibility for training, you will be part of the Senior Management Team, involved at every level of training and development of current employees and future hires, across all departments, but with a strong focus on Front-of-House, to ensure all employees are fully trained to a standard which exceeds the customer expectations. The Assistant Manager will identify and monitor training needs in the organisation, and design, plan, and implement training programs, policies, and SOPs to fulfil those needs. The Assistant Manager will provide guidance and support to the current managers in implementing this training for optimal results and ensure that employees are applying what they have learned in the workplace.
Qualifications
Demonstrated 4/5 years’ experience in a similar role is fundamental alongside either Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management / professional certifications such as Train the Trainer or equivalent are highly desirable, however, hospitality management or F&B related training or qualifications will boost your career prospects and help you in this job.
Proficient in MS Office and other operating systems

Excellent organisational and time management skills
Must be fluent in English
Have a passion for hospitality and training
Someone with impressive stamina and engaging training skills who stays cool under pressure
You’ll need to thrive on training and managing a hardworking team and be able to inspire them to deliver an exceptional guest experience
Leadership skills to motivate and manage the team
The confidence to liaise with other heads of department and deliver their departmental training needs
Job Type
Full-time, Permanent - 5 days per week
Includes evening and weekend work
