Kitchen Porter

Job Description

As a kitchen porter, you will be required to complete duties such as cleaning, washing up and waste disposal in the kitchen

What Will I Be Doing? 

Your job is to keep the kitchen clean, neat and tidy

As a Kitchen Porter, your main duties include:

Carrying out daily basic cleaning tasks and weekly deep cleaning tasks effectively and efficiently

Collecting and washing up pots and pans

Cleaning crockery & cutlery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean, sanitised and ready for use

Unloading equipment and food from deliveries

Ensuring the storerooms remain organised and well-maintained

Making sure work surfaces, floors and walls are always clean and sanitised

Own transport or local accessibility is essential for this role as shifts are variable and involve evening and weekend work

Must be able to speak and understand English

Full training will be provided
